IN THE PARTIAL LUNAR ECLIPSE

After the moon rise the partial phase was marked by very good photos from AKG side



Though the Partial Eclipse officially began at 0615PM IST but there was a significant change in Lunar symmetry at 0608PM only







TRIED TO TAKE PHOTO WITH FLASH ON






TOTALITY- 


It appeared to be very difficult to capture the Totality event. The dimmed moon's reflected light forced us to use different photography techniques and we could get handful of good photos.

The logo of ASTROPHOTOS @ AKG with the Moon above


The Waxing Crescent Moon as seen through my refractor telescope had a sparking view after sunset. 
The Redness of the moon in such phase near the horizon is attributed to the phenomena of scattering of light in the earth's atmosphere. The moon's reflected light travels a larger distance near the horizon due to which from the white light only red light is dominant and other color light gets scattered away as per Lord Rayleigh's Scattering...
