No wonder why the 5.2 Earthquake's hypocentrum is little bit shallow, since it's near the magma chamber of Krakatoa Caldera.

Earthquake in Sukabumi, Indonesia
New Earthquake has occured near my home. It was in Sukabumi, West Java Province. the earthquake is scaled at 5.2 and 5.4 M, respectively. the depth is 33 km for the 5.2 M earthquake and 69.7 km for the 5.4 M earthquake. All of these earthquake is perceived as far as Jakarta and did no damage at all. the 5.4 Earthquake's hypocentrum was firstly located at Cimandiri Fault, which is a sinistral type fault, but later, its hypocentrum is located below Indian Ocean. Cimandiri fault is tectonically active, straddling from the Indian Ocean straight to the city of Sukabumi through Cimandiri river. The 5.2 M earthquake's hypocentrum below Sunda strait.
